Capping System?
A capping system is an aluminium finishing system installed along the top of parapet walls, upstands, and roof edges on flat-roofed buildings. Its primary function is to cap the exposed top of the parapet, preventing rainwater from entering the wall structure from above – one of the most common points of water ingress on flat-roofed buildings. Without a properly installed capping, rainwater can soak into the brickwork and mortar joints of a parapet wall, causing damp, spalling, and structural deterioration over time.
